you are nuts if you think this did anything then further divide the nation along the lines of race and skin color. Obama could not be further from Dr King's dream of character judgment. He's turned it into a nightmare of personality and skin color politics.
This issue is on every American's lips and conscience and nearly every magazine/newspaper cover. The President had to speak - he did so eloquently as a man, not the Commander-in-Chief. His comments unite all but those who intentionally turn a blind eye to the racism that persists in America.
